Octypus
The Octypus, from ITW-Muller, is capable of wrapping
up to 120 pallets per hour in a full production
environment. With its patented ring around the pallet,
the Octypus can begin the wrapping cycle at the bottom
of the pallet and end it at the top of the pallet. This
one-way pass on the pallet instead of the two-way (up
and down) pass required by most other machines reduces
film costs by up to 35%.
 The Cobra
The Cobra, from ITW-Mima, is popular because of its
overhead arm and ability to tie off the film by its
roping technique at the end of the wrapping cycle. This
eliminates film tails. The Cobra is capable of wrapping
up to 50 loads per hour.
